Film Index

Film Cast Lists and Movie Index, With Sequel Status

Cast pages for the films that get looked up, plus what happened to the sequels they set up: 9 film pages here, and 32 films whose follow-ups are tracked entry by entry.

INT. PROJECTION BOOTH — NIGHT

These pages cover films the way people actually ask about them: who was in it, who played the part nobody can place, and whether the sequel it obviously set up ever arrived. The first two questions a film database answers well. The third it cannot answer at all, because a film that was never made has no record to return.

Some titles have a full film page here; others are covered on their actor or director's page instead, filed by the person rather than the title.

Film pages

Films with a tracked sequel

Each of these set up a follow-up. The tracker records whether it arrived, stalled or was abandoned, and how long the gap has run.

Characters

A character is not a film and not a performer, so it gets its own heading rather than being filed under one of the others. These pages answer how many films the character actually appears in, which is a question a film database has no row for.

Franchise and title pages

These sit on their original tag URLs, kept exactly where they were.

About this index

What is on a film page here?

The cast, who played which role, and whether the film ever got the sequel it set up. The last part is what a database will not tell you, and it is usually the reason someone is looking up an older film in the first place.

Why are there no posters or film stills?

Posters and stills are licensed material. The artwork here is made for this site instead, which is why it shows cinemas, projection booths and auditoriums rather than scenes from the films being discussed.

How do I find a film that is not listed?

Check the sequel tracker, which covers films by the follow-up they set up rather than by their own title, and the actor index, which reaches films through the people in them. A title missing from all three simply does not have a page yet.
