‘The Dead Don’t Die’ Trailer Disassembles the Greatest Zombie Cast Ever

While plenty of movies are continuously being talked about, one has recently become the center of attention as it was just revealed last week and already has a first trailer. Written and directed by Jim Jarmusch, The Dead Don’t Die is zombie comedy that brings together quite possibly the most talented and well known names for a zombie movie in recent memory, if not ever.

There is no official synopsis for the film, but truthfully, there doesn’t need to be one. This trailer is all anyone needs to know what the movie is about. Quite frankly, I probably would have went out to see this movie if it was announced a day before its actual release date. Although we have had a very high saturation of zombie stories over the last decade, there is no doubt that Jarmusch is going to give it an extremely fun spin, a spin that is being compared to Edgar Wright’s Shaun of the Dead, which is obviously one of the best zombie movies ever.

With a cast like this one and a filmmaker like Jarmusch, it could be a serious contender for most fun at the movies this summer. Remember the last time Bill Murray was in a zombie movie? How can you not be looking forward to seeing Tilda Swinton swing a giant katana? It looks so strange, yet so delightful at the same time, and I cannot wait to see this entire film play out in theaters. Adam Driver and Murray as co-leads? Yes please.

Check out the first trailer for the film below, and after doing so, leave your thoughts in the comments below! Does it look as fun to you as it does me or am I off my rocker? Which actor are you most excited to see in the movie? Also starring Chloe Sevigny, Steve Buscemi, Danny Glover, Caleb Landry Jones, Rosie Perez, Iggy Pop, Sara Driver, RZA, Carol Kane, Selena Gomez and Tom Waits, Jarmusch’s The Dead Don’t Die will be released June 14th.
