After six whole long years, Disney is finally bringing us the long-awaited sequel to one of their all-time greatest hits, Frozen 2. As we all know, Frozen introduced us to an all-new fantastical world that followed sister Anna and Elsa in Disney’s beautifully created winter-wonderland. The film made a ridiculous amount of money at the box-office and was a smash-hit in the eyes of both children and adults with a headlining song that didn’t go away for months, maybe even years. That is why most of us, if not all were baffled that they studio didn’t move forward with a sequel almost immediately, but nevertheless, a new adventure finally awaits and you can get your first look below.

Let’s be clear, this is just a teaser trailer. With that said, it’s an incredible first look. It’s hard pressed to find a trailer that can leave a mark without a single piece of dialogue, but Disney has accomplished that with this teaser. The opening sequence is absolutely fantastic, which is then followed by some of the most stunning animation you will ever see. Disney has thrown the kitchen sink at us, bringing together a number of animators who are masters at their craft. It’s easily one of the most beautiful animated movies I’ve ever seen and it’s just the teaser trailer!

The other aspect of this whole thing is the landscape. The first movie was full of gorgeous white powder, obviously, but the sequel is taking a much more fall-approach, putting our characters in a completely different element. It’s a very smart idea as it’s a genius way to keep the franchise moving forward with a fresh feeling, but also keeping those things that made everyone fall in love with it from the beginning. There’s no doubt that the film will crush when it comes to the box-office, fans having been waiting a long time for this movie, but we shouldn’t be surprised if it turns out to be even better than its predecessor.
