Here’s Our 5 Movies to Check Out in December!

Well ladies and gentlemen we finally made it! It is December and 2018 has come and gone. Along with it, it brought us some amazing movies. But the year is not over as we have some box office big hitters finishing off the year. So here is our list of 5 movies to check out in December!

Jake: #1 Vice, #2 Aquaman, #3 Bumblebee, #4 On The Basis of Sex, #5 Mary Poppins Returns.

Jacob: #1 Aquaman, #2 Bumblebee, #3 Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, #4 The Mule, #5 Welcome To Marwen.

Brian: #1 Aquaman, #2 Bumblebee, #3 Vice, #4 Mary Poppins Returns, #5 Mortal Engines.

Keith: #1 Bumblebee, #2 The Mule, #3 Vice, #4 Aquaman, #5 Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

5. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

“Bitten by a radioactive spider, teenager Miles Morales suddenly develops mysterious powers that transform him into Spider-Man. He must now use his newfound skills to battle the Kingpin, a hulking madman who can open portals to other dimensions.”

Starring: Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld, Nicolas Cage, Mahershala Ali, Liev Schreiber, John Mulaney and Lily Tomlin. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse opens in theaters December 13th.


4. The Mule

“Broke, alone and facing foreclosure on his business, Earl Stone takes a job as a drug courier for a Mexican cartel. His immediate success leads to easy money and a larger shipment that soon draws the attention of hard-charging DEA agent Colin Bates. When Earl’s past mistakes start to weigh heavily on his conscience, he must decide whether to right those wrongs before law enforcement and cartel thugs catch up to him.”

Starring: Clint Eastwood, Taissa Farmiga, Bradley Cooper, Alison Eastwood, Michael Pena, Dianne West, and Lawrence Fishburne. The Mule opens in theaters December 14th.


3. Vice

“Gov. George W. Bush of Texas picks Dick Cheney, the CEO of Halliburton Co., to be his Republican running mate in the 2000 presidential election. When Bush becomes victorious, Cheney uses his newfound power to help reshape the country and the world.”

Starring: Christian Bale, Sam Rockwell, Amy Adams, Steve Carrell, Tyler Perry and Jesse Plemons. Vice opens in theaters December 25th.


2. Bumblebee

“On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee the Autobot seeks refuge in a junkyard in a small California beach town. Charlie, on the brink of turning 18 years old and trying to find her place in the world, soon discovers the battle-scarred and broken Bumblebee. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns that this is no ordinary yellow Volkswagen.”

Starring: Hailee Steinfeld, John Cena, Justin Theroux, Angela Bassett and Peter Cullen. Bumblebee opens in theaters December 21st.

“Arthur Curry learns that he is the heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, and must step forward to lead his people and be a hero to the world.”

Starring: Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Nicole Kidman, Yahya Abdul Mateen II, William Dafoe and Dolph Lundgren. Aquaman opens in theaters December 21st.
