Chris Pratt has had a pretty successful year so far with roles as Star Lord in Avengers Infinity War and Owen Grady in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Between those two movies alone, he has been apart of 2 films collecting over $3 Billion dollars. Not bad for a guy with humble begins. His next role was set to be in the Universal project titled Viking Ninja Warrior but the movie ended up being shelved. After that he was set to star in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, but that movie has been put on hold due to the firing of James Gunn by Disney. So with nothing really scheduled, it looks like Pratt is in talks to star in a new role.

The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Chris Pratt is in talks to star in a Taylor Sheridan led action thriller. If Sheridan’s name sounds familiar that is because he directed the movie Wind River and was a writer for Hell or High Water, both very critically acclaimed movies. David Heyman is set to produce the project, which with his track records with movies such as the Harry Potter series, Gravity, and I Am Legend, his track record is a pretty good one. Warner Bros. is the studio behind the movie.

Not much is known about the project and it is being very tight lipped, but what we know so far is that the story centers around a black-ops team that targets drug dealers who have protection from certain federal agencies. While no known roles have been announced, my guess is that Pratt will probably be playing a leader of the black ops team in charge. The movies plot itself sounds like it will be right up Taylor Sheridan’s ally as far as directing. Wind River and Hell or High Water both revolved around a government agent type role with Wind River having FBI involvement and Hell or High Water having Texas Rangers.

Regardless it should be a pretty good movie with Sheridan’s involvement and Chris Pratt is not one to disappoint in movies so the combo should be awesome. But tell us what you think!
