First ‘Captain Marvel’ Trailer Reportedly Being Released Tuesday Morning!

Before the comic book world was shocked by the (still unofficial) news that Henry Cavill will be hanging up his cape as Superman, Captain Marvel was the talk from one corner of the earth to the other. And a trailer hasn’t even been released yet! After what feels like a century of a wait, we finally received our first official look at the upcoming MCU prequel, which finally debuted Brie Larson in her superhero duds. Sadly, because comic book fans are the greediest on the planet, that wasn’t enough as an outcry for a first trailer was wanted almost immediately after. No answer was given, until yesterday.

It was (sort of) announced that the first official trailer for Captain Marvel will be released this upcoming Tuesday morning. Brie Larson is set to make an appearance on Good Morning America, and if her appearance stays in line with her MCU colleagues, she will bring something quite special with her.

THIS IS SO EXCITING. Outside of Avengers 4, Captain Marvel is easily the most anticipated comic book movie on the forefront. It’s been a very long time coming and because of the situation the remaining Avengers are currently in against the Mad Titan himself, it really couldn’t be more of a perfect time.

What kind of footage do I expect to see? Honestly, I expect a full-length trailer. I don’t really think Marvel is just going to drop a teaser, I think they’ll put everything on the table with this one. Full costume, a good amount of time in deep space with Starforce, and multiple shots of an incredibly young Nick Fury. It’s going to be absolutely glorious, in every way possible. From the characters to the effects to the setting, there’s so many great things going for this film right now. And I haven’t even mentioned the Skrulls! Man, if I have a lot to talk about right now, I can’t wait to see the kind of time I put into it once I see a first trailer. Bring it on!

Thoughts? What are you expecting from this trailer? Will it be just a teaser or full-length? How much are you looking forward to the movie? Do you know about Captain Marvel and her powers? Also starting Jude Law, Ben Mendelsohn, Gemma Chan, Lee Pace, Djimon Hounsou, Clark Gregg, Annette Bening and Samuel L. Jackson, Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck’s Captain Marvel flies into theaters on March 8th, 2019.
