‘Bad Times at the El Royale’ Provides Yet Another Fascinating New Trailer

20th Century Fox has released another new trailer for the upcoming Drew Goddard film Bad Times at the El Royale. Goddard, who has some fantastic credits to his name, finally returns to the directing chair in this year’s hottest mystery thriller, which is set at a hotel that sits directly on state lines between California and Nevada. But while it’s fun and games to begin with picking which state you want to stay in, the story quickly unravels as the guests, all of the guests, aren’t who they say they are.

I cannot wait for this movie. Not just because I think Goddard is one of the most underrated directing talents in the business, but the cast looks absolutely incredible in their roles. The trailers so far don’t feel like they’re revealing too much, rather setting us up for a wacky, somewhat scary mystery story that will have some major twists and turns. Remember The Cabin In the Woods with Chris Hemsworth? Yeah, Goddard wrote and directed that film as well. Remember how much of a mind f**k the end of that movie was? I expect nothing less than that with Bad Times at the El Royale.

Check out the new tailer below, and make sure you head down to the comments and leave your thoughts? What did you think of the trailer? How about the cast assembled? What aspect of the movie are you most excited to see? Starring Chris Hemsworth, Jon Hamm, Jeff Bridges, Dakota Johnson, Cynthia Erivo, Cailee Spaeny, Nick Offerman and Lewis Pullman, Goddard’s Bad Times at the El Royale opens everywhere on October 5th.

Seven strangers, each with a secret to bury, meet at Lake Tahoe’s El Royale, a rundown hotel with a dark past. Over the course of one fateful night, everyone will have a last shot at redemption… before everything goes to hell. Jeff Bridges, Chris Hemsworth, Jon Hamm, Dakota Johnson and Cynthia Erivo lead an all-star cast in BAD TIMES AT THE EL ROYALE.
