Watch the ‘Mission: Impossible – Fallout’ Team Break Down That Epic Bathroom Scene

Mission: Impossible – Fallout looks like it’ll be the movie of the summer. Everything we’ve seen this far has shown us that this franchise shows no sign of slowing down, in fact, it only looks like it’s getting more and more intense with each new adventure. Through trailers so far, there have been multiple acton sequences that have caught our eyes, but the one everyone continues to talk about is that epic looking bathroom scene with Tom Cruise and Henry Cavill.

The scene is only shown in the trailers for mere seconds, but it brought our anticipation to a completely new level. The scene requires no stunts, no doubles and no props. Rather, it’s a sequence that requires three able bodied men with heavy fists ready to duke it out through dry-wall and mirrors. It’s absolutely fantastic and it’s the one big moment I’m looking forward to in the film.

As the movie approaches this weekend, Fandango caught up with Cruise, Cavill and director Christopher McQuarrie as they detail the scene and what it took to shoot it. No real new footage is shown, so don’t worry about anything being spoiled. Hearing how these three are talking about the moment, as well as how Fandango’s correspondent Erik Davis talks about the scene, I’m losing my mind over watching it. With all the anticipation around it, I can only hope it lasts longer than these type of scenes usually do.

Check out the video below and after doing, leave your thoughts in the comments! How excited are you for that scene? What about the movie in general? Do you agree that this franchise just keeps getting better with age? McQuarrie’s Mission: Impossible – Fallout hits theaters on July 27th.
