20th Century Fox has released a new trailer for the upcoming Freddie Mercury / Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody. Directed by Bryan Singer (with the aid of Dexter Fletcher), the film will story the extraordinary rise of the rock band Queen and their lead singer Freddie Mercury, played by Rami Malek. But in a turn of events, Mercury turns on his bandmates in search for a solo career, but after never finding the success alone as he once had, he reunites with Queen to give one of the greatest rock performances of all-time.
Some films go through big changes as production pushes forward, but in recent memory, there’s nothing more severe than the drama Bohemian Rhapsody went through behind-the-scenes. I’m not going to get into detail about, but how the film looks, it looks as if it’s been smooth sailing from the beginning. It continues to look absolutely fantastic, with an even better lead performance from Mr. Robot star Rami Malek.
I know very little about this entire situation with Queen and Mercury, but am now extremely excited to find out all the details. I’ll be very interested to see how much into detail they go, as I’m sure it’s chalk full of things that will keep audience’s across the world interested for it’s entire runtime.
Check out the new trailer below, and after doing so, let me know your thoughts in the comments! Do you remember when it all actually went down? How does it look to you? Will it do the character and band justice? Also starring Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Joseph Mazzello, Aidan Gillen, Tom Hollander, Allen Leech and Mike Myers, Bohemian Rhapsody hits theaters on November 2nd.
