‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ Has Cast a New Lead

J.B. SmooveSpider-Man: Far From Home has been making some headlines ever since Tom Holland announced the title of the movie. Production has begun on the movie and the villain has supposedly been cast as Jake Gyllenhaal is rumored to be playing one of Spider-Man’s most famous villains Quentin Beck aka Mysterio. Other than Gyllenhaal we haven’t really heard any new faces joining the cast. Well now we seem to have our first new character.

Sony has decided to add Jerry Angelo Brooks aka J.B. Smoove to the sequel. Smoove is known for roles in movies such as Black Dynamite and most recently Uncle Drew. While we don’t know who he will be playing it has been said that he is going to be a leading character. It is also unknown if he will be a new character or someone from comic books past.

I think that Smoove is a pretty good and really funny actor. I will reserve my judgements a little bit until I learn a little bit more about either who he is playing or what kinda of character he will be in the movie. Other than that I think it’s a solid casting and I’m looking forward to learning more about it!

So what do you think about Spider-Man: Far From Home casting J.B. Smoove? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
