Production for Boba Fett Spinoff Not Beginning Any Time Soon

Star Wars fans across the world have been fans of Boba Fett ever since his first appearance in Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. His run however came to a quick end in Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, and the bounty hunter wasn’t seen from again except for quickly as a child in Episode II: Attack of the Clones. Many were left wanting a lot more Boba Fett and were only given it through comic books, books, or tv shows. James Mangold on set LoganFans have been wanting to see him in live action but were left to no avail. But recently it was announced that we were finally going to get a Boba Fett movie and not only that but Logan director James Mangold would be directing.

Excitement has been spreading and has left many wondering when we would be getting the movie. Recently we saw the newest Star Wars spinoff movie Solo: A Star Wars Story released just around five months after Episode VIII: The Last Jedi and it did not do very well in theaters leaving many to believe fatigue from The Last Jedi helping contribute to poor box office sales. Many believe that we will now only be getting one Star Wars movie a year to prevent Boba Fettthat from happening again. But where would that leave the Boba Fett movie?

Well today according to Omega Underground the film will be shot at the famous Pinewood Studios in the UK. It also is speculated that it will begin filming in 2020 due to Mangold’s new movie Ford vs. Ferrari which begins filming at the end of the summer aiming for a 2019 release date. While everything is technically still unofficial as Disney has yet to ‘officially’ announce the movie, its assumed that it would be announced sometime in the near future as there are quite a bit of projects in the works.
