Warner Bros. has released a batch of new images for Ocean’s 8. The picture is directed by Gary Ross (The Hunger Games) is rebooquel (reboot/sequel) to the classic Ocean’s franchise from filmmaker Steven Soderbergh. Together, the two director’s came up with the idea for the film, which will follow Danny Ocean’s sister Debbie, played by Sandra Bullock, who is fresh out of prison and ready to get back in the game as she pulls together an all-star team to pull off an epic heist at the Met Gala.

The biggest thing this film has going for it is the cast. The ensemble is one of the most different, and unique, and overall best cast of the year. The ladies up and down this list, as well as the gentlemen, are fantastic. Each of them bring something completely different to the table, and when it comes in something like the Ocean’s franchise, I’m in. If this movie is able to capture any kind of magic that the original cast of the original movies did, I know I’ll have a good time.

These new images do a fantastic job of bringing together each actor and actresses together in different situations. It leaves me craving to see what kind of tone this film has. As I said above, if it captures just the slightest bit of Soderbergh’s movies, I know it will be quite fun.
