The Ridiculously Awesome New ‘Mission: Impossible – Fallout’ Trailer Is Here!

As promised and after what seemed like a terribly long wait, Paramount has unveiled the brand new trailer for Mission: Impossible – Fallout. After remarkable success with Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, director Christopher McQuarrie returned to helm the sequel which sees Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt and his team on the run against time as the best intentions and past mistakes have come back to haunt them.

This movie looks awesome, there’s no other way of putting it. This is typically a franchise that is looked forward to every other summer, but because these movies just simply keep getting better and better with each entry, it’s now a movie that is the high of many’s year, not just summer. The work and dedication that Tom Cruise has continued to put into this franchise with his directors and cast mates is second to none, it’s the reason these movies are so fun and entertaining. And that looks absolutely no different, whatsoever, with Fallout. In fact, it may hold the most fun and biggest entertainment value yet.

While past M:I movies have featured pretty good casts, Fallout holds the best of the bunch. We, of course, see Hunt’s team of Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames return, as they always do. And it wouldn’t be a sequel if we didn’t see Rogue Nation breakout Rebecca Ferguson return alongside them. Speaking of familiar faces. While she was shortly featured in Ghost Protocol, Michelle Monaghan (Hunt’s wife), returns in her biggest role in the series since Mission: Impossible III. When it comes to new faces, that’s lead by Superman himself Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett, and Vanessa Kirby. Sean Harris also returns to his villainous role from Rogue Nation, as well as Alec Baldwin in his CIA role.

It’s pretty crazy just how fantastic this movie looks. Not just as far as action or stunts go, which the franchise is known for, but the story and characters have become incredibly engaging over the last few movies. I’m very happy that McQuarrie returned for the sequel, because he seems to be firing on all cylinders. Check out the new trailer below and make sure to head down to the comments and leave your thoughts! Which trailer do you like better? How much are you looking forward to it? McQuarrie’s Mission: Impossible – Fallout hits theaters on July 27th.

The best intentions often come back to haunt you. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT finds Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team (Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames) along with some familiar allies (Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Monaghan) in a race against time after a mission gone wrong.
