Deadpool & Domino Take On Cable in New ‘Deadpool 2’ Footage

Let’s be honest, we’ve all be wrapped up Avengers: Infinity War lately. How can we not be? It’s literally just over a week away and everything for the film looks monumental. While that is the case, let’s not forgot that 2018 features a number of other comic book properties, one of which that follows Infinity War not too long after. Deadpool 2 has slightly gotten lost in the shadow of Infinity War from the beginning, even with some pretty awesome trailers. It would make sense for the film to hold off just a bit until Infinity War is released in theaters, but also not let us forget that it’s still coming very soon.

I’m actually pretty happy we haven’t seen a whole lot from this movie. Not just because it’s Deadpool or a superhero flick, but also because it’s very much a comedy. I don’t want any of those moments spoiled in pre-release footage because that’s what made the first so damn good. Most of the footage shown before the release of the first movie was just insanely good and unique promos of Deadpool with a sombrero or chocolate’s for Valentine’s Day. Sadly, we haven’t seen a whole lot of that for the sequel, which is odd, but we also haven’t seen a whole bunch of new footage, which is a huge plus.

Now, I’m still holding out for some hilarious promos from the merc with a mouth, but until then, I’m cool with seeing just a bit more footage from the sequel to win me over even more. It’s not a lot, but it could also be just enough for some to consider it spoilers. So beware! I will say that I was cringing because I didn’t want anything spoiled, but was satisfied after because my excitement for the movie grew even more. Bring on the pool of death!

If you wish, check out the new footage below. If you do, leave your thoughts in the comments! Directed by David Leitch, Deadpool 2 will be released on May 18th and stars Ryan Reynolds, Josh Brolin, Zazzie Beatz, Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand and T.J. Miller.
