As announced yesterday, Disney and Pixar have released a new full-length trailer for the long-awaited, high anticipated Pixar sequel, Incredibles 2. The excitement and rage for this movie not just this year, but for the past decade has been outrageous. Fans have been begging and pleading for years, and after developing some original films and a few sequels, the animation studio is finally ready to give us all what we’ve been waiting for. Watch the new trailer below.
While we’ve seen a substantial amount of footage for the sequel thus far, I truly feel like we haven’t seen anything. These movies, typically, aren’t very long, yet I feel like there’s so much more to see. And that’s really exciting. We’re all obviously looking forward to seeing the family of superheroes reunite to battle whatever comes there way, I just hope that there’s some fun and strong twists along the way that will raise it above most of, if not all of Pixar’s sequels.
With the original being released in 2003, there wasn’t much of a superhero craze at that time outside of the occasional X-Men or Spider-Man movie. Now, there’s a comic book movie ever few months, which makes it very hard for a superhero movie to differentiate itself from the rest. If Brad Bird is able to not only capture the spirit of the original, but also take its game to a whole new level, Incredibles 2 could be one of 2018’s best superhero movies.
Check out the brand new trailer below and after doing so, let me know your thoughts in the comments! How old were you when The Incredibles was released? How excited are you for the sequel? Do you like what you’ve seen from the trailers? Featuring the voices of Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Sarah Vowell, Huck Milner, Bob Odenkirk and Samuel L. Jackson, Incredibles 2 is set to be released on June 15th.
Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transistion for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.
