Official IMAX Poster for ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ May Be the Geekiest Poster Ever

While everything that we’ve seen from Avengers: Infinity War has been amazing. Every piece of footage, image or comment has raised anticipation more and more, which almost seemed impossible because it’s Infinity War. The only head-scratcher that has come from the marketing period of this film is the complete absence of both Hawkeye and Ant-Man. Where the hell are they?

This new IMAX poster for the movie is amazing. It’s hard to argue against any of the posters released, but this is my new personal favorite. And what makes it even better is the fact that I should have one in my hand in just a matter of weeks as I’m watching Infinity War in IMAX. YES.

Speaking of Infinity War and IMAX, Marvel and the massive theater company will be making history as Infinity War will mark the first movie ever to be shot entirely on IMAX cameras. I repeat again, YES. In addition to that, it will be shown in IMAX’s expanded 1.9:1 aspect ratio, which will show up to 26% more of the film to viewers. Get ready for history nerds.

What are your thoughts of the new IMAX poster? Which one-sheet is your favorite so far? Are you seeing Infinity War in IMAX? Are you sad you’re not now? Starring a remarkable cast of Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Don Cheadle, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Rudd, and Tom Hiddleston, Joe and Anthony Russo’s Avengers: Infinity War smashes into theaters on April 27th.
