While we have gotten our first look at the Venom movie from the trailer released some time ago, there are still a lot of uncertainties that have been left for us to try and figure out. One of those mysteries is who Woody Harrelson is playing in the movie.

When it was first announced that Woody Harrelson was going to be joining the cast, the rumor went around that he in fact would be playing Carnage, another symbiote just like Venom. Those rumors were quieted for a while when reports surfaced that Harrelson was going to be playing a “henchman” of sorts in the movie, leaving the rumors subside for the time being.

Now a report by Bleeding Cool has said that they have all but confirmed that Woody Harrelson will be playing Carnage in the upcoming Venom movie. In the article it says that Harrelson will be playing Cletus Kasady, who is a known serial killer, who finds his way to some of the venom symbiote, which then makes him an even more dangerous and murder happy character, Carnage.

While we don’t know much other than that there have been rumors that Tom Hardy’s Venom will be fighting other rogue symbiotes in the movie which has many guessing and speculating that Venom will be hunting them down only to find his way back to Carnage by the end of the movie.
