Final ‘Ready Player One’ Trailer Will Give You Goosebumps

As one of their flagship films of 2018, Warner Bros. has been hard at work marketing Ready Player One. The Steven Spielberg film is everywhere, including one last trailer before it’s released in just two weeks. I’ve tried my best to stay away from any new footage on the film, and have done a good job so far, but for some reason I just couldn’t help myself when it came to this new trailer. It could’ve been how everyone was raving about it or my lack of will power, it’s still up for debate.

This trailer has so much awesome in it. From the total ’80s and ’90s nostalgia to the slow reveal of the actual plot, it’s nearly a perfect trailer. There hasn’t been footage I haven’t liked for the film, but I can only imagine my face if this was the first or second trailer way back when. I probably would’ve lost my s**t.

Because it’s Spielberg, and Spielberg rarely ever misses, early screenings have already been happening for the sci-fi adaptation. And just as expected, it’s nothing short than spectacular, with many claiming that the filmmaker has taken “Spielberg magic” to a completely different level. A Spielberg film is always one that should be looked forward to, but for me personally, when it comes to this kind of film and genre, this is a Spielberg film that may be the one I’m looking forward to the most. And hopefully, it lives up to the hype that trailers and early word of mouth has created.

Check out the new trailer below and after doing so, please leave your comments in the section below! Are you just as excited as I am? Did you read the book? Is there anything you hope makes it into the movie? Spielberg’s Ready Player One stars Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke, Ben Mendelsohn, Simon Pegg, T.J. Miller and Mark Rylance and is released on March 30th.
