That Jaw-Dropping Throne Room Scene from ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Is Now Online

The journey to the Star Wars: The Last Jedi blu-ray is almost over. In just a matter of two short weeks, fans everywhere will be able to have the latest adventure in the galaxy far, far away in their hands and playing in their home video player. In anticipation for the release, Disney and Lucasfilm have been frequently releasing clips and behind-the-scene videos that will be highlighted on the blu-ray later this month, with the latest release being the biggest so far.

The Last Jedi featured dozens of geek-out moments that had us speculating, debating and licking our lips over, but more times than not, the epic insanity that is the throne room scene is the one that most talk about. I’m able to play it over and over it my head again after only seeing the film twice in theaters, but damn is it still amazing to see on a screen. This scene will arguably go down as one of the greatest lightsaber scenes of all-time, and now you can watch it as many times as you’d like until that beautiful blu-ray combination pack comes out.

Just as every other fan, I’ll be watching this more than just a few times over the next few weeks. But I’d be lying if I didn’t say how much more excited I am to see the way this scene came together through special features. There are so many moving parts in this scene, and plenty of gorgeous choreography in different steps. One of the first things I’ll be doing, right after watching all the deleted scenes, is heading straight to the featurette that will be covering the creation of this historic moment. Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be released on blu-ray and DVD on March 27th.
