EW Reveals 15 Incredible ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Covers!

It’s official, the marketing campaign for Avengers: Infinity War has begun. Marked yesterday, this year’s most anticipated film is now under 50 days away. To celebrate the occasion, Total Film released a brand new image of the sequel, and now, Entertainment Weekly has revealed 15 covers that are pure nerdgasm for fans everywhere!

These aren’t just your normal, everyday magazine covers. Not only is this Infinity War, but these new images show a few new things for our heroes, as well as some character combinations that we just can’t wait to see play out on screen. Out of the bunch, we get our first real look at the new upgrades for Iron Man, Winter Soldier, Spider-Man (or Iron Spider rather) and War Machine. Stark’s new wings “serve as rocket boosters into deep space,” and that either means the climactic battle of this movie or Avengers 4 will be in space or Stark could be making a trip out to space to find Thor and the band of a-holes he’s currently shipped with.

As for the others, Bucky has a new limb. Through post-credits of Civil War and last month’s Black Panther, we’ve learned that Bucky’s mind is being rebuilt thanks to T’Challa’s genius sister Shuri. But also remember that she’s Wakanda’s chief science officer and they have an endless supply of Vibranium at their fingertips, which means Bucky has the strongest metal arm available. As for the others, both Spider-Man and War Machine have gotten tactical upgrades in the form of Iron Spider and for Rhodey, more than likely something that travels to space and helps him with his injury from Civil War.

As for the rest of our heroes, there are minor upgrades that should serve them very well in any kind of cosmic fight. We get an up-close look at Cap’s new shields, which will come from his new home in Wakanda and still made from his favorite metal. Thor has a new, darker costume that could connect to his new found powers, and Widow has a pair of badass looking batons that could create some chaos on the battlefield. My only question is why are Hawkeye, Ant-Man and Wasp sitting out? Will their cover be released too?

Check out all the new covers below and let me know your thoughts in the comments. Which team-up are you looking forward to? Which upgrade are you most excited to see? Joe and Anthony Russo’s Avengers: Infinity War will finally be released on April 27th and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Elizabeth Olsen, Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, and Tom Hiddleston.
