It’s been a long time coming, but Super Troopers 2 is finally on its way. Fans have been begging and pleading for years for a sequel to the cult classic movie from the group known as Broken Lizard, and now, it’s actually happening. In the sequel, the troopers are called in for their stupendous police work when an international border dispute arises between the U.S. and Canada.

I can’t explain my excitement for this movie. Super Troopers is one of my all-time favorite comedies. It’s completely ridiculous, but such a damn good time. Because I was younger when it came out, a sequel never really came to mind, I was just happy with the movie I had. But now, I want to see nothing but a sequel. There can easily be at least one more story with this group of ridiculous HighWay Patrolman. And according to the first official trailer, the shenanigans are back in full force.

The movie isn’t releasing for a few months, which leaves plenty of time to see more stunts as it draws closer. For now, we have this new batch of images to enjoy, which bring the boys together again. They don’t show much, just Mac, Thorny, Foster, Rabbit and Larva have a good old time. Starring Kevin Heffernan, Paul Soter, Steve Lemme, Erik Stolhanske, Jay Chandrasekhar, Rob Lowe and Brian Cox.
