New ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi TV Spots: Rey Tries to Resist, Finn Fights Back

If there is one thing people don’t like, it’s Star Wars spoilers. More than half of fans around the world will tune out everything from the galaxy far, far away once that first official trailer hits just to make sure they know as little as possible going in. Others will click play on absolutely anything because they just can’t resist. Luckily, the marketing thus far has done a pretty damn good job of keeping us on our toes and rather than answering our lingering questions, it’s only adding to them.

A pair of new TV spots have been released for Rian Johnson’s film, which turn the focus to Rey and Finn. Don’t worry, no major moments or scenes are revealed, just a but of new dialogue and some quick new shots. But like I said above, the new footage only has us asking what’s going on instead of actually putting the pieces together. It’s quite brilliant.

As a life long Star Wars fan and one who is losing his mind waiting for this film, I’m greatly appreciative that the marketing for this film has been so secretive to this point. This is the most spoiler-filled film of all-time and to have anything ruined or just teased in pre-released promos would be a huge mistake. While I would love to have all my questions answered at this very second, I would also be pretty pissed if anything is spoiled before I’m shaking in my seat on the night of December 15.

Check out the new footage below and make sure to leave your thoughts below in the comments. How pumped are you for this film? What theories are you a fan of? Do you try to stay away from new footage? Johnson’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits a theater near you on December 15th.
