These are the images you’re looking for. Now that Thor: Ragnarok and Justice League are officially out in theaters, it’s now time to look forward to 2018s final monster, Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Just a few small weeks stands between us and that glorious opening night, but thankfully Entertainment Weekly has given us a little tasty treat to hold us over.
Let’s be honest, there’s not much else we need to see from this film to get us excited. Now, of course, there are skeptics out there, but a few incredibly thrilling trailers and handful of fantastic images have even made the biggest doubters believers in Rian Johnson’s film. With December right around the corner, Entertainment Weekly has taken the chance to reveal the full spread for next months issue, which focuses on none other than The Last Jedi. Sunday brought four beautifully crafted covers for the new issue, and now today, we get a better look at the latest saga entry with some exhilarating new images.
Now a number of the new stills are very familiar shots, as we’ve seen them from a different perspective in the trailers. Others, such as Rey and Kylo or Laura Dern on Resistance Command are new, but come with no new information that will spoil the film. Thank goodness. The best image? They’re all pretty good. I mean, it’s Star Wars. But I keep going back to the one of Rey with a looming Kylo Ren in the background. I wonder why?
Check out the new batch of images below and please make sure to leave me your thoughts in the comments! What could that image mean? Are you looking forward to seeing more from the movie over the new few weeks? Johnson’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi is released on December 15th.
