Netflix Drops Second Trailer for ‘The Punisher’ with a Release Date

Most of us have been anxiously waiting for Netflix to give a date for the upcoming Marvel series The Punisher, myself included. Well we finally have got a release date as well as a fairly long second trailer for the upcoming premiere. Netflix will be releasing The Punisher on November 17th, 2017. If you do the math, we are a little under a month away from the release.

Now after watching the trailer, there were a few thoughts that immediately came to mind at the end. First off it seems that the series will rely heavily on Frank Castle’s (Jon Bernthal) military past and what he did while in the military. Then when he comes home, his life turns upside down. It seems that he may have been working for some type of secret government assassin agency, which may or may not be bad.

Here is my guess on how the show is going to go. I believe that Frank Castle is going to be apart of this undercover military government agency. One that doesn’t want to be known to the public. While Castle is in the military he is assassinating government targets, not legally. When they complete the contract the agency doesn’t want what they did get out in the open so they start killing their own assassins. When Castle finds out what the agency turned him into, they kill his family because of his noncompliance and the threat he really is. This in turn sends him on a murderous rage to avenge his family.

So what do you guys think after watching the new trailer? Do you think I’m on to something, or do you have a better idea of what is to come. Let me know in the comments below!
