Watch 2 New Clips for Miles Teller’s PTSD War Drama ‘Thank You for Your Service’

A duo of new clips have been released for the PTSD war dram film Thank You for Your Service, which stars Miles Teller. The film is directed by Jason Hall and follows a group of soldiers who are struggle to integrate back into their lives after returning home from Iraq, with memories that threaten them long after they’ve left battle.

Every once in a while we get a film that pulls at the heart strings, that makes you think twice about things, such as Million Dollar Baby, Marly & Me and Lone Survivor, to just name a few. Thank You for Your Service looks to be one of those films. The trailer has been in front of every film I’ve seen over the last month, and every time I watch it I realize more and more that if I do go see it in theaters, I’m walking out with shedding some kind of tears. It looks heartbreaking, but the worst part is that this happens every day to a brave man or woman who comes home from their tour. This isn’t just a story written up by some Hollywood writer and put on screen by a director, this is real life.

With the film being released next week, Universal has revealed two new clips for the film. I personally haven’t watched them and won’t, as I want to save as much for the theater experience as possible, but I image they give you a very strong sense of what kind of film it will be. After checking them out, let me know what you think of them in the comments. Hall’s Thank You for Your Service hits theaters next week on October 27th and also stars Haley Bennet.

Follows a group of U.S. soldiers returning from Iraq who struggle to integrate back into family and civilian life, while living with the memory of a war that threatens to destroy them long after they’ve left the battlefield.
