Final ‘Justice League’ Trailer Goes All In on Aquaman, The Flash & Cyborg

As promised, Warner Bros. revealed the third and final trailer for Justice League this morning. The new footage offers yet another new look at the highly anticipated DC Comics adaptation. Acting as the fifth entry in WB and DC’s cinematic universe, Justice League follows a rejuvenated Bruce Wayne who, after the selfless act of Superman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, enlists the help of his new found ally Diana Prince a.k.a. Wonder Woman. Together, they quickly recruit a team of metahumans to stand up against an unimaginable threat, one that may have catastrophic proportions on the planet.

In my opinion, this is the best trailer for the long-awaited epic team-up. It has everything you want as a fan of these DC movies, just punched up a bit more. With Zack Snyder taking the sudden, but understandable leave of absence earlier this year, it’s unclear how much of this trailer is Snyder and how much was created under the creative mind of Joss Whedon. We may never know, but it does look like quite a different film from what we saw just over two months ago.

The trailers so far have been quick shots of each of the members, as well as snippets of them together, but this trailer – for the first time – details how the team is brought together. While it is done in a bit of an eye-rolling way, quite frankly it just doesn’t matter as fans will be licking their chops over finally seeing DC’s heroes on the big screen for the first time. It still remains to be seen just how the chemistry will work between all these characters in the setting, but one who looks to be having no problem is Aquaman.

Jason Momoa is easily the best part of this trailer. He quickly became the frontrunner for favorite of the bunch when we got our first glimpse, but since then, it’s almost become a lock that that will happen. His ability to not only command a screen, but group setting charisma and fascinating sense of humor make him an instant crowd-pleaser, something that was necessary for the Aquaman character.

Check out the new trailer below and after doing so, please head down to the comments and leave me your thoughts as I’m sure you all have something to say about this one. Justice League is set to open on November 17th.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
