Thor Names His Own Team in New ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Footage

While I should’ve seen it coming with so much Thor: Ragnarok news dropping today, Marvel surprised with a new lengthy spot for the upcoming Taika Waititi film tonight during the debut game of the 2017 NFL season. It isn’t a full length trailer, but still holds quite a bit of new footage within its walls. And it’s definitely worth checking out.

The new footage once again assures fans why they should be so awfully excited for this film. Not just trailers, but images, posters and interviews are continuing to hype this film to a level we didn’t really think a Thor film could reach with the outings the franchise has made thus far. But with Waititi on board, a rejuvenated Chris Hemsworth, and some strong additions to the cast/story, Ragnarok looks like a complete Marvel game-changer.

Check out the new spot below and after doing so, please head down to the comments and let me know what you think. Are you just as excited as I am for this film? Why or why not? Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok smashes its way into theaters on November 3rd.

In Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk!
