‘Thor: Ragnarok’: Marvel Brings Down the Hammer with Comic Con Trailer

San Diego Comic Con has passed, but that wasn’t without some massive new goodies. One of those goodies is thanks to Marvel and the awesome – and I can’t emphasize awesome enough – new trailer for Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok.

Marvel made all the stops this year at Comic Con, with amazing new tidbits for Captain MarvelAnt-Man and the WaspBlack Panther, and of course Avengers: Infinity War. But if you were to ask those in attendance what they’re favorite part was, I would not bet against Ragnarok and this incredible new trailer. It not only has everything we know and love from Marvel and their films, but also tons of completely new things that are special from director Taiki Waititi. The music. The tone. The action. The comedy. It has it all.

We’ve known for a while that this film will be the Captain America: The Winter Soldier of Phase Three, but we didn’t know exactly how much until this trailer came along. Not only will it have an everlasting affect on the MCU and directly impact what comes next with Infinity War, but it looks like something completely wacky for Marvel, one that is not giving off the Guardians of the Galaxy vibe. If there’s one thing this trailer did, it made sure to let audiences know that this isn’t a Guardians film.

Check out the new trailer for Ragnarok below and after doing so for the tenth or so time, let’s have a conversation below! What did you think? How about that team up? How much were you geeking out after watching it? I know I was, watch my reaction below! Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters on November 3rd and stars Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum, Karl Urban, Tessa Thompson, Idris Elba, and Anthony Hopkins.

In Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk!
