Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for their upcoming disaster flick Geostorm. Starring Gerard Butler, Geostorm focuses on an intricate network of satellites that was built to control the global climate, but when the system that was built to protect Earth turns against it, it becomes a race against the clock to uncover the real threat before a worldwide geostorm wipes out everything, and everyone along with it.
The only time I’ve watched the first trailer for this movie is when it has popped up in the theater from time to time. I’ve never willingly clicked play on it because honestly, I just don’t care. Not only have I heard pretty bad things about it, but I’m pretty damn tired of this by-the-books disaster movie that we seem to see at least a few times a year. And that’s the same for this new trailer. I’ll probably watch it eventually, but not today because I’m just not interested in it. I hope it ends up being something, but for now, I already feel like this will be one of the biggest flops of 2017
Check out the new trailer below and because I haven’t watched it yet, let me know what you think in the comments. Is it as bad as I thought? Does it look interesting at all? Geostorm hits theaters on October 20th, 2017 and stars Gerard Butler, Abbie Cornish, Kathryn Winnick, Jim Sturgess, and Ed Harris.
