Watch the Making of ‘Wonder Woman’ with Over 13 Minutes of Behind the Scenes Footage

The hype is seriously real. While Zack Snyder created a film around the two biggest superheroes of all-time going toe-to-toe with each other, and David Ayer bringing to life the all villain Suicide Squad, the excitement leading into the week of a DC release has never been higher than it is for Wonder Woman. And surprisingly, I couldn’t be happier that that’s the case.

With early reviews being well above “just” positive and footage to easily back up the claims, Wonder Woman looks to right the wrongs the DCEU has made to this point. And it plans to do it with style. From everything being said about Patty Jenkins’ film, it not features a good story with strong and fun action sequences, but  fantastic characters, performances, and chemistry from the two leads: Gal Gadot and Chris Pine. Now we can kind of get that vibe from the trailers, but you never really know. Especially considering that Gadot specifically doesn’t have the best track record when it comes to strong performances. As a fan, it’s refreshing to hear that the woman bringing to life the great female superhero of all-time is finally not just growing into the character, but becoming the character.

As for Pine and the rest of the comments made, it all makes sense. Patty Jenkins’ is truly an incredible director, possibly the best the DCEU has grabbed so far, and it looks like her film with showcase that. Pine has always been a fun actor and was definitely the most exciting part of this film going in. But now hearing that him and Gadot make a pretty damn good team, it gets me that much more excited because that kind of thing can elevate a film from good to great. But I’m going to hold back any kind of thought until after I see the film later this week…

Celebrating the one week release mark, Warner Bros. has released a very lengthy featurette titled “Making Of.” Now I personally haven’t watched the video, nor will I just because I don’t want to see anything by accident that I just don’t want to see. I can only imagine that the video is full of awesome goodies, so after watching it, head down to the comments and let me know how good it is. Are you as excited for Wonder Woman as everyone else? What about the trailers grabs you? Jenkins’ Wonder Woman will finally be released in theaters this week on June 2nd, 2017.

Raised on the mythical island of Themyscira and trained by Amazonian warriors, a young woman named Diana fulfills a destiny long ago bestowed on her by the Gods when her home and the world at large is threatened, she must leave and travel to the outside world for the first time. In doing so she will take the first steps to becoming the hero that is Wonder Woman…
