‘Baywatch’ Images & Posters: The Beaches Ain’t Ready

The beaches aren’t ready. The first big screen adaptation of Baywatch has had a very big marketing campaign to this point. It seems like each day we get something new for the massive comedy that has quite a bit riding on it. As for today, it brings a hefty batch of new images and a strong of posters that have been released over the last few weeks or so.

Being the first movie version of the popular ’90s TV show, Baywatch follows a new hotshot lifeguard, played by Zac Efron, as he butts heads with the badass and universally loved head lifeguard of Baywatch, Mitch Buchannon (Dwayne Johnson), until mysterious activities start to arise at a local beach club, leading Mitch and his team to come together and save the beach. The cast is rounded out by Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Ilfenesh Hadera, Jon Bass, and Priyanka Chopra.

For the most part, I’ve enjoyed the kicks and giggles I’ve seen from trailers and TV spots, but that was halted extremely quickly this morning by an unfortunate run-in with the ever so deadly embargo lift. I read one sentence and boom, the flood gates opened. I’m not going to ruin anything for those of you that want to stay away from any kind of spoilers, so I’ll keep my trap shut from here on out regarding any kind of critical response on the movie.

It’s officially been released in theaters everywhere, today, and to celebrate the occasion, I’ve collected a gigantic set of stills and a few posters that give that much more of a glimpse into the Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron led action comedy. Featuring the entire main cast, take a look at it all below. After doing os, head down to the comments and let me know your thoughts on Baywatch. Are you excited for it? Is it your type of comedy? Baywatch is now out in theaters.
