Emma Watson & John Boyega Discover a Secret in a Trio of New Clips for ‘The Circle’

Ahead of its worldwide release this weekend, a trio of new clips have been released for The Circle. Starring Tom Hanks, Emma Watson, and John Boyega, the story follows a young woman as she rises through the ranks of the most power tech and social media company on the planet, but when she’s asked to engage in a groundbreaking experiment that pushes the boundaries of ethics and privacy, every decision she makes begins to affect the lives of her friends, family, and all humanity.

In a year full of gigantic blockbuster and comic book films, these are the kind of films I look forward to. I felt the same about Free Fire just last week and now with a film focusing on the “big brother” side of things with a really strong cast, how can I not be excited? Technology has obviously become a huge part of our world, and the question of when skynet will take over has always lingered in the back of our heads. I’m interested to see how far this story goes. Is it just about the small eye always watching or is there something bigger that we have no idea about? Either way, I’m very interested.

Tom Hanks is Tom Hanks and John Boyega is everywhere now following his breakout role in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but Emma Watson. Just a few years ago she was taking a bit of break from acting to finish school and now, it seems like she’s ready and eager to get back in the business as she’s beginning to pop back up, and I couldn’t be happier.

Check out the new clips below and after doing so, let me know what you think in the comments. Are you looking forward to seeing it? What do you think about the cast and premise? James Ponsoldt’s The Circle is released April 27th, 2017 and stars Tom Hanks, Emma Watson, John Boyega, Karen Gillan, and Patton Oswalt.
