I never thought I’d be so excited to see both a Shyamalan film, and a film that’s releasing in January, a month typically known to be the dumping grounds for a studio’s failed project. However, with Split, Shyamalan proved he could tell a great story, with great character depth, and exceptional pacing. He managed to pull off a jaw dropping reveal that Split takes place in the same universe as Unbreakable, and now we’re getting a follow up film with Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson returning.

The title Glass is fitting to the universe at hand, and it’s previously titled installments. It tells me that Jackson’s Elijah Price character (Mr. Glass) will play an important role in getting David (Willis) and The Beast (McAvoy) to collide in what’ll be an insane fight. As for how that’ll exactly happens remains to be seen, but knowing Shyamalan I can be you it won’t be so straightforward. I’m also excited to see Anya Taylor Joy return, and it’ll be very interesting to see her role in this film. Does she side with The Beast after the way their confrontation ended, or does she go to David and warn him of this Beast? I can’t wait to find out.
