‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Teaser Trailer Reveals the Mighty Threequel

In quite a surprise, Marvel released the first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated third entry into the Thor franchise, Thor: Ragnarok. Directed by Taika Waitit and follows Chris Hemsworth’s Thor as he’s imprisoned on the other side of the universe, finding himself in a race against time to get back to Agard to stop Ragnarok, the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela.

THIS LOOKS AMAZING. I can’t describe how excited I am for this movie. My expectations have been way too high to this point, for multiple reasons, but thankfully, the trailer lived up to those expectations and actually, blew them out of the water. From the look to the sound to everything else, this movie looks like pure insanity, and that’s a really good thing. I’ve been hearing a lot of people comparing it to Guardians of the Galaxy (fast, fun), but honestly, that never crossed my mind while watching the footage. I don’t know how much more I can say, it just looks fantastic. Taika Waititi now seems like the absolute perfect choice to direct this film, and everything released for it so far is a clear indication s to why. Bring on November!

Watch the first trailer for Thor: Ragnarok (two time, three, four) below and after doing so, let me know what you think of it in the comments! Did it surprise you? How did it compare to your expectations? What are you most looking forward to, other than Thor vs. Hulk? Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters on November 4th, 2017 and stars Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum, Karl Urban, Tessa Thompson, Idris Elba, and Anthony Hopkins.
