We’re now under three months away from James Gunn’s highly anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, a movie that feels like it’s been coming for a long time. This past Sunday brought a brand new look at the sequel with a flat-out awesome Super Bowl TV spot, which resulted in an even better, extended version online (which you can find here on Apocaflix!). But if that isn’t enough for you and you’re still clamoring for more of our favorite a-holes, maybe this latest batch of images will do the trick.
In what just felt like hours after releasing new footage, Marvel unveiled a new batch of behind-the-scene images that reveal fantastic up-close looks at various moments from production, which include the newly added members to the team: Michael Rooker’s Yondu and Karen Gillan’s Nebula.
Also attached is the kick-ass new poster and the most recent Instagram post from director James Gunn, as he gives us fans a sweet new look at one of the cooler moments from the trailer, which he calls “the No Nerf Zone.” Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits theaters on May 5th, 2017 and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Kurt Russell, Karen Gillan, Michael Rooker, Elizabeth Debicki, Pom Klementieff, and Glenn Close.
Set to the all-new sonic backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill’s true parentage.
