First ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ Clip Returns to The Continental

Considering that is starred a leading man trying to get back on track and only releasing it’s trailer a month before its release, John Wick was and is a true phenomenon. It came out of nowhere, blowing minds away day after day, including myself, which ultimately made me put it in my Top 10 list for 2014. Now, with a little bit over two years gone by, the hugely exciting sequel is just weeks from its release, which means we are in the heart of marketing territory.

To kick off the campaign, Lionsgate has release the first official clip for the Keanu Reeves movie, which doesn’t show much, just a pretty damn determined Wick walking in the lobby of the famous, assassin/hitman hide-out from the first movie, The Continental. Not only that, but the pup from the end of the first movie is back, giving the Hotel Manager a run for his money in the straight face department. But that wasn’t all, a fresh batch of images have also been released, which tease many aspects of the sequel, including new allies and bad guys that will test the Boogeyman.

I think I speak for us all when I say this, John Wick: Chapter 2 can’t get here soon enough. All of the footage released to this point has the same feel and vibe as the original movie, just amped up a bit. With the first movie doing so well, it’s obvious the budget was increased for the sequel, which is only a great thing for us fans as it means bigger action and more of those awesome head-shots, just more violent and even more creative this time around. He’s back!

Take a look at both the new clips and images below. How do you feel about Chapter 2? Does it look as good as the original? What are your expectations?  How about that action though? Chad Stahelski’s John Wick: Chapter 2 hits theaters on February 10th, 2017 and stars Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Common, Ruby Rose, John Leguizamo, Ian McShane, and Bridget Moynahan.
