New Trailer for ‘The Belko Experiment’ Takes Office Play to a Cruel New Level

A new trailer has been released for The Belko Experiment. The horror thriller written and produced by Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn and follows 80 Americans who, as part of a twisted social experiment, are locked inside their high-rise office building in Colombia, only to be ordered by an unknown voice over the building’s intercom system to participate in a game of kill or be killed.

When the first trailer for this movie was released a while back, I had never heard of it. It’s not too surprising as it’s not really a movie that will have its every movie tracked, but after seeing the footage, I was surprisingly intrigued by it. It’s always interesting to see how a story will play out when its characters are given one of only two options, especially when it involves life and death (is that wrong to say?) Unfortunately, I can’t say much of the same for this new trailer.

Don’t get me wrong, the trailer wasn’t bad by any means, it was just a bit too much of the same. Usually, you hope a second trailer will build upon the one that came before, but in this case, it just kind of stayed at the same level. The idea still sounds pretty cool to me and I like the most of the footage I’ve seen so far, I just wish this new trailer felt a bit different.

Watch the new trailer below and then afterwards, let us know your thoughts in the comments. Are you participating in The Belko Experiment? Why or why not? Starring Tony Goldwyn, John Gallagher Jr., Adria Arjona, John C. McGinley, Sean Gunn, and Michael Rooker, The Belko Experiment will be released on March 17th, 2017.

The Belko Experiment explores a twisted social experiment, in which a group of 80 Americans are locked in their high-rise corporate office in Bogata and ordered by an unknown voice on an intercom system to participate in a deadly game of kill or be killed.
