Tom Cruise & Russell Crowe Led ‘The Mummy’ Gets a Teaser; Full Trailer Arrives Sunday

Universal Pictures has revealed a first look teaser at their upcoming reboot of The Mummy. Taking place in modern day, the sci-fi action-packed monster movie is directed by Alex kurtzman and stars Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella, Annabelle Wallis, and Russell Crowe.

Usually a trailer teaser is filled with close to nothing, just letting us all know that a trailer with real footage is just around the corner. But this one, while it doesn’t feature an major plot points or backstory, jumps right into the action as we get solid looks at all of the characters, including the mythical monster herself.  Yep, staying in line with many of the gender swaps going on in Hollywood, the terror this time around will be in the form of an ancient princess whose destiny was taken from her.
