Priceless Mockumentary Reveals What Thor Was Doing During ‘Captain America: Civil War’

One of the bigger questions revolving around Captain America: Civil War was where the God of Thunder and Big Green Brute were during the gigantic battle royale between heroes. When it comes to Hulk, it was kind of sort of explained when he disappeared in the Quintet at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron, with no available trace. But as for Thor, it was just kind of left up in the air. We all figured he was on Asgard or some distant realm fighting evil in only ways Thor can, plus he would have easily tilted the playing field one way, so we all just left that stoned unturned.

Following Comic-Con this past summer, those of us who weren’t able to attend heard about this hilariously awesome mockumentary Marvel and Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi spliced together to fill in the gaps that the big question of “Where was Thor?” left behind. While a small part of entertainment world was raving about the 3-minute piece, the majority of us were sitting bummed, but also waiting for Marvel to give us a chance to watch it. Well, that time has finally come as the video has been released online. And just as it was being talked about weeks ago, it’s making its rounds and being talked about by fans everywhere in the best way possible.

Check out the video below and let us know your thoughts on Thor’s whereabouts during Civil War. Was his time well spent away? Could he have been any help to either side? You’ll be able to see Thor next in his third adventure for Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok on November 3rd, 2017.
