Clips: ‘Mechanic: Resurrection’, ‘Snowden’ & ‘Blood Father’

Pre-release clips that are released are 50-50. What I mean by that is that half the people love getting more looks at the movie before it’s released, and half the people stay as far away from them as possible so nothing is spoiled. Unfortunately with the day we live in, many “top selling” moments in movies are spoiled through trailers or other kind of marketing tools, especially clips.

For me, unless it’s a movie that can’t really be spoiled through marketing, I don’t click any video that says “Official Clip” on it, because I HATE spoilers. Anyway, that’s off topic. Below I’ve pulled together a handful of clips for a few movies that are being released in the next few weeks: Mechanic: Resurrection starring Jason Statham and Jessica Alba, Oliver Stone’s Snowden which stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Edward Snowden, and Blood Father starring Mel Gibson in his version of Taken.

While I am looking forward to the Mechanic sequel, I’m still a bit hesitant. It looks like it’s just another, everyday, thrown together action movie. Luckily though, I’m always down to see a bit of incredible eye candy like Jessica Alba, although she isn’t the best actress. As for the other two, I’m pumped for them both, more so Snowden. Nothing against Mel Gibson, but I personally don’t know a ton about the Snowden story and what took place. For that reason alone, I’m instantly in and seeing this story unfold. And it only helps when a director like Oliver Stone is behind it and it features two A-list talent like Gordon-Levitt and Shailene Woodley, among many other names.

Check out the newly released clips below and make sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments. How excited are you for the following movies? Any you aren’t? What did you think of the clips? Sound off below!
