Lionsgate has released the first trailer for Imperium. The crime thriller is directed by Daniel Ragussis and stars Harry Potter himself Daniel Radcliffe as a young FBI agent who goes undercover to take down a radical “right-wing” terrorist group. The up-and-coming agent must now confront the challenge of sticking to his new identity while maintaining his real principles as he maneuvers his way through the dangerous world of white supremacy.
Out of all the characters he grabbed post-Harry Potter, this is definitely the most interesting, exciting, and even controversial role he’s taken yet. Just think, Harry Potter threw away the glasses and went skinhead. As for the trailer, it’s freaking intense. It does a great job of steadily building while only teasing us with just enough. But while that’s the case, I was still looking to see Radcliffe channel that insane, serious Neo-Nazi rage that comes with the territory. But the great thing is is that it’s just a first trailer, which leaves plenty of time to see that happen.
