Watch 7 New Clips from ‘The Legend of Tarzan’

I’ll be straight, Independence Day: Resurgence was not the summer blockbuster we were hoping it was. A summer blockbuster is suppose to be full of popcorn fun, unfortunately Roland Emmerich jumped the shark and went completely off rails with his sequel. So that means we look to the next promising summer blockbuster, which in this case is David Yates’ The Legend of Tarzan.

So far, I’ve really enjoyed everything I’ve seen from the Alexander Skarsgard led film. The trailers have been exciting, intense, and something we haven’t seen from this character before. David Yates as a director is a huge positive, as he did wonders for the Harry Potter franchise. And the cast is fantastic, with such names like Margot Robbie and Christoph Waltz in roles I want to see them in. Now the question becomes, can it live up to the excitement the trailers have built? I believe so, especially after that final trailer that took the fight to the trees. But just in case there are some movie-goers who still aren’t sold on the movie, Warner Bros. has released a number of new clips to build more excitement, as well as some b-roll footage that gives fans a great behind-the-scenes look.

Check out the new clips and b-roll footage below, and don’t forget to let us know your thoughts in the comments. Have you liked the trailers? Which one sold you? How excited are you to adventure off with Tarzan again? David Yates’ The Legend of Tarzan swings into theaters July 1st, 2016 and stars Alexander Skarsgard, Margot Robbie, Samuel L. Jackson, Djimon Hounsou, and Christoph Waltz.
