Posters have become an integral part of a film’s marketing program. Not only are they plastered on roads and freeways across the world, but they’re at bus stops, inside movie theaters, and all over the internet. Teaser posters, character posters, and the official one-sheets; posters are second to only trailers in attracting the everyday movie-going audience. And because it’s 2016, movies are pumping out like crazy. Small, middle class, and the big blockbusters, each of them get a number of posters through the weeks leading up to their releases. And because it’s summer, that’s amplified even more. Here is the latest, quite big batch of posters to hit the web.
Featuring a number of big movies, with a splash of smaller, unknown ones as well, the following set of posters include: Justin Lin’s Star Trek Beyond, Antoine Fuqua’s western remake of The Magnificent Seven, the Harry Potter spinoff (from J.K. Rowling) Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the video game hopeful Assassin’s Creed starring Michael Fassbender, Nate Parker’s film festival hit and Oscar contender The Birth of a Nation, Ron Howard’s Inferno starring Tom Hanks and Felicity Jones, Seth Rogen’s R-rated animated film Sausage Party, The Accountant starring Ben Affleck, Power Rangers, Nerve, Hell on High Water, and I am Wrath.
