After a pretty controversial start for X-Men: Apocalypse, Bryan Singer’s latest entry into the franchise he started over 15 years ago has been on a pretty big hot streak. The first trailer was good, good enough to get us excited. But where it all really started was that, let’s face it, epic Super Bowl TV spot, which was followed by a very strong second trailer. With it just over a month away, it’s unlikely we’ll be seeing any more new footage, which leaves plenty of room for other marketing tools to step up. And that’s exactly where these brand new characters come into play.
To this point we’ve gotten some decent posters, which focused on the X-Men and Apocalypse and his Four Horseman. But this past week saw a slew of others added to the roster. Not only did we get a batch on Apocalypse’s Four Horseman, but the official character posters as well. Each major player in the upcoming film gets a piece of the spotlight, each showcasing the different mutations they have. I’ve never really been super high on character posters, with only so many really sticking out to me (such as The Force Awakens). But I’ll be honest, I really dig these posters. I’m not really sure what it is about them, but they are some of the better ones I’ve seen. Each one of these characters is so drastically different from the next, which gets me very excited to see them on screen together; it’s definitely one of the better group of X-Men characters Singer has assembled.
Take a look at the new posters below and let us know what you think in the comments below. Which poster is your favorite? Which character are you most excited to see?
