New ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Character Posters & Featurette Put the Four Horseman Front & Center

While Captain America: Civil War is the next monster to hit theaters, don’t let X-Men: Apocalypse slip your mind. Bryan Singer’s latest X-Men entry is just as much as a guaranteed hit as Civil War is. And following Days of Future Past, the X-Men universe is now headed to a very interested place. After more than a decade of films, we’ll finally be seeing the Xverse villain, Apocalypse. And because he is as big of a bad as there is, they’ve taken a great approach to the marketing of Apocalypse so far and focused on him and more specifically, his four horseman.

Wherever Apocalypse goes, he always has four followers, dubbed The Horseman. This time around, we’ll be seeing three new mutants (Storm, Angel, and Psylocke) join the ranks of Apocalypse, along with a very familiar face, Magneto. Continuing the 2016 theme of versus, we’ll be seeing mutants face off against mutants, both friends and foes.

No real word whether or not we’ll be seeing a third trailer before the films release next month. Quite frankly, there doesn’t need to be one. We’ll be getting a flurry of TV spots here pretty soon, as well as promos like the one below, so why take the risk of showing to much? Anyway, take a look at the new Apocalypse featurette below which focuses on the Four Horseman. What do you think of Apocalypse so far? What’s your anticipation level at for the film? Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters May 27th, 2016 and stars Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters, Oscar Isaac, Rose Byrne, Olivia Munn, Lucas Till, Alexandra Shipp, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Ben Hardy and Lana Condor.
