Meet the Characters of ‘The Jungle Book’ in New Clips & Posters

Now that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has been released, we’re starting to look forward to what comes next. There are a few smaller, very exciting films being released the next few weekends, but the one everyone looking out for is The Jungle Book. The Disney and Jon Favreau live-action adaptation has been pretty high up on everyone’s list since it debuted its first footage way back when. We already know that the story works and works well, the big questions have been the move to live-action. But that’s no more, because the trailers are a clear indication that it can freaking work.

I always try to remind people that this film, the entire film, was shot on a sound stage in Los Angeles. None of what you see is real, other than Mowgli. Wowed yet? Now that the film is just a matter of weeks away, Disney is really starting to push the film into the public’s eye. The latest marketing promo’s come via a trio of new clips and batch of character posters. First up, clips. Each clip features one of the main animal characters we’ll see, Bill Murray’s Baloo, Lupita Nyong’o’s Raksha, and Christopher Walken’s King Louie.

I haven’t and won’t be watching the clips above, but man do I really want to. I can’t express how excited for this film. I think Favreau is a fantastic director, and I really love everything I see from this film so far. Which includes these new character posters. They are insanely beautiful. They highlight, in extreme detail, the major characters we’ll be seeing along this journey through the jungle.

Check out the new posters below, and also let us know what your anticipation level is for the film below. Are you excited for it as I am? Which character are you looking forward to the most? Jon Favreau’s The Jungle Book swings into theaters April 15th, 2016.

  1. I’m actually looking forward to this. Loved the animated movie grown up, so it will be interesting to see how this live action adaptation will be received.
