With Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice officially in theaters, and with most of us having seen it already, it’s time to look forward to the next big release. What is it? Disney’s The Jungle Book. Since we saw the first glimpse of footage of the Jon Favreau directed film, we’ve been enthralled by it. From the incredible voice talent to its insane visuals, there really ins’t a reason to not be excited about this film.
As I mentioned above, one of the biggest reasons to be looking forward to the film is the voice cast assembled by Favreau. Bill Murray, Lupita Nyong’o, and Scarlett Johansson are just a few. But one name that has many buzzing is Idris Elba, mainly because he’s playing Shere Khan. Now if you know The Jungle Book story, you know who the character is. But if you don’t, it more simpler terms, he’s the antagonist, and an awesome one at that. Now through the footage we’ve seen, we’ve gotten only snippets of dialogue from the characters, but now, but now we get to see exactly what’s in store come next month.
The following clip features what looks like the introduction of Shere Khan in the movie. It’s a fantastic scene, one that once again raises my excitement for this film. Check out the new clip below and make sure to let us know your anticipation for the film in the comments below. Jon Favreau’s The Jungle Book is released on April 15th, 2016 and stars Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley, Idris Elba, Lupita Nyong’o, Scarlett Johansson, Christopher Walken, Giancarlo Esposito, and Neel Sethi.
