Welcome Back to Showdown Sunday #23.

Every week we pit two movie related forces (characters, movies, directors, etc) against each other and you guys vote who wins (via. Fan Poll).

Today might seem like a regular Sunday for many Americans, but for film buffs, critics, actors, actresses, directors, etc. its the day of the Oscars. There’s no higher achievement in film than earning yourself a gold statue, and tonight we’re all going to witness on our televisions some of Hollywood’s best get honored for their achievements.

This Showdown Sunday is dedicated to all the Best Picture Winners of the last 5 years. Every single one of these films are great for obvious reasons, but which film in your opinion stands above the rest? I want to know which Oscar winning Best Picture was truly the Best Picture of the last 5 years?
