Following weeks of Instagram casting announcements by star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, we now have our first look at the R-rated Baywatch movie. And rather than it coming by the expected form of slo-mo jogging, we get the two leading studs, Johnson and Zac Efron.

Johnson, as he usually does, took to his Instagram to release the image of him and his co-star, marking the start of production on the movie. It will be directed by Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses) and will also star Alexandra Daddario, Ilfenesh Hadera, Kelly Rohrbach, Priyanka Chopra and Jon Bass. And if we take anything away from Johnson’s caption, it seems like it’s going to be a damn good time. I crack up every time I read that Johnson’s character gave Efron’s character “the all important beach speech about what it means to have manly “Alpha balls”. Not only that, but he teased the “brilliant” ad-libbed responses from Efron, which we were no doubt given a taste of in Neighbors.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Johnson take to his Instagram page to unveil something Baywatch related. As the casting process moved forward, Johnson announced every major member to join.
