Aand we’re back with another honest trailer! Usually when I post these honest trailers from Screen Junkies, I’ve seen the movies. But in a little twist, I’ve never actually seen Labyrinth. I know, you’re probably calling me crazy right now, but I guess I’m just late to the party. And to be quite honest, after seeing both the trailer and this honest trailer, I’m not all that interested in it, at all. It’s no secret that I’m not the biggest fan of the fantasy genre, the elves and trolls and everything else just don’t appeal to me like they do everyone else.
So can I say I’ll ever actually watch Labyrinth? No. I may get around to it one day, especially with the tragic passing of David Bowie. But although I haven’t see it, this honest trailer still gives you a pretty good kick. It not only does a great job of playing off some of its more ridiculous elements, but its main objective is to pay great respect to David Bowie, and it definitely succeeds at doing so.
In other news, it was just reported last week that TriStar Pictures is planning a reboot or remake of the movie. The report noted that Guardians of the Galaxy scribe Nicole Perlman has been working on a draft for some time now, but with nothing officially announced.
